The Time Traveller

Hey Guys, Gals and Non-binary pals.

So I'm here, I'm back. But blogger has changed up a couple of things. We can only use blogger for 18 and over. I am not in that age range so I have to blog, blog, blog.

Anyways for writing, I've selected a prompt for writing, It was almost like last time I did it. But that doesn't matter. Hopefully you guys are all safe at home! So yea.

LINK(S): Prompt

(If you guys can't access the prompt I'll type it in)

He remembered the first time he ever found the time travelling clock. He was in his 20’s and was still living in his mothers home. It was a small apartment in a very busy part of town. Getting a job was very hard. So all he did was cook and clean in his mothers home.

Until his mother had enough. She didn’t want her son in her home. So she gave her son enough money for food and water. Then kicked him out of the house.

“I’m very sorry my dear boy. But you must figure things out yourself.”

Those were the last words he ever heard from his mother. The front door then slammed. The rain poured down onto the town streets. He stood in disbelief, but he knew that her mother was right.

He had a box in his hand, it was just filled with his stuff. He didn’t have much, he just slept in the closet underneath the stairs. He then took a right from his mothers home. He then saw an alleyway. He swiftly crept into the alleyway since there was shelter so he wouldn’t be wet and cold from the rain.

He sat next to the dumpster which had an atrocious smell. He then placed his box next to him. He dug through the box and found an old mug. He then placed it where the rain was so he could have water.

Today wasn’t his best day.

3 days had passed since he got kicked out. He was smelly and hungry. “Sighh”. He then got up and started to look through the garbage bags near the dumpster that somebody else dumped.

He opened a garbage bag, it was a pile of shattered glass, torn up books and plastic. He then sealed up the bag and moved on to the next. “Alright let’s hope it’s something good.” The man’s eyes widened. He saw a small grandfather clock. It was the length from his feet to his knees. So it was very small for a grandfather clock.

The handles were still ticking, it was in perfect working condition, why would anyone throw this out? The man then tinkered with the clock then a wave of magic appeared. He got sucked into the clock.

As he was gliding through, what looked like Space? He saw flashbacks of things that happened in his life. His 20th birthday with his Mom. The first of school. His old mates. And when he got kicked out.

Writing Bingo

Hey Guys, Gals and Non binary pals.

So i've finished my writing, but for my extra writing I did an activity. It's called Cartoon Craziness. So I had to write about a character being late to school. So I got that idea to make a                                                      mini slideshow-writing-pick-a-path story thing. So I think I did alright, I checked up the slideshows and all the links pictures etc.

I really like it myself, but I did get lazy halfway soo. Anyways hopefully you like it if there are any errors please comment and I'll try and fix it up!

(FOR PEOPLE THAT DON'T KNOW Y/N MEANS YOUR NAME, SO REPLACE Y/N WITH YOUR NAME.)

Link(s): lol hahaha

Reflection..
Well, it was okay. This took me two days because my character maker website thingy crashed. So I had to wait another day. I was gonna go for the extreme and put more choices but I got lazy. Anyways stay safe.

YAY NO SCHOOL! wait... ONLINE SCHOOL?!

Hey Guys, Gals and Non-binary pals.

So i'm pretty sure everyone else is in lock down, so... Since I'm a student I have to do online classes. So basically like normal, except there's no teacher around and your at home.

Staying indoor's wasn't a really big problem for me, but for people who like go outside must be bummed.

Anyways I quickly made this poster about Covid, it's very, VERY low effort. So if I missed anything please comment and i'll TRY to add to the poster.

Link(s): no links today

Reflection.
Quite easy if i'm being honest. And if i'm being honest i'd stay inside because... You basically get everything you need. Anyways, you can ONLY go to work, or the grocery store, unless you like getting fined.

Question(s): i have no questions just stay safe

Orana Park

Hey Guys, Gals and Non-Binary pals!

So yesterday we went to Orana Park! The year 7-8’s went, so that’s Room 5-6.

We originally went there to learn more about Biodiversity and other cool facts about animals.

Room 5 and 6 had to be split into two, So that we wouldn’t be all bunched up around an enclosure. Me being in Room six, I had to go to the room six group.

We had a lovely instructor/teacher called Bethany, she told us many facts about the different animals around the Zoo.

We only got to feed one animal, and it was the giraffes. I didn’t feed them, because I didn’t want to. People kept on making jokes about how they were my ‘relatives’. I’m not even the tallest in my class. I didn’t mind it.

There were a lot of cool animals, and I got to see a kiwi! His name was Sonic, and he was the only kiwi in the enclosure. Must be lucky having a lot of room. But kiwi’s have it a lot more difficult. There were new ‘pests’ that got introduced into New Zealand that made kiwis' lives a bit harder.

Turns out there’s a lot of animals that are endangered. It’s because of how much stuff we’re taking away from them. Like palm oil, to get palm oil we have to cut down trees. And if we take all of the trees from that area, how are the animals gonna survive?

To Sum it all up. We learnt a lot about different things, such as how to Help animals, How they help us, What they do for the environment, and How we are harming their environment.

This was quite fun, and tiring we had to walk all day around the Zoo. But it was so much fun!

Art + Math + Biodiversity = ??

Hey Guys, Gals and Non binary pals.

Today we (as in year 7 and 8) did Math Art! Art math..? I don't know. We were meant to go onto a trip today but it got postponed because of the weather. Back to what this post is about, we did focused on Symmetry.

What is Symmetry do you ask? It's basically something that's mirrored or the same on both sides in other words. Since we were learning about Biodiversity we chose to draw different types of bugs and creatures. I chose a ladybug thinking it'd be easy. But no, you HAVE to add a certain patterning just to make your life harder.

All jokes by the way, and hey! It snowed which was quite cooL! So weird things be weird I guess.

So I did a couple of different types of patterns, honestly I just drew random things and called it a pattern I guess. So I drew it all by myself! With the help of a reference of course. After I did the layout and some patterning, I used a lightbox to trace the other side. It was quite difficult because I couldn't see much of the lines.

Anyways if you like my work! Then I don't know, put a thumbs up in the comments.

it was quite hard because I couldn't focus. It was just be being clueless and doing something else, other then drawing this. But I guess it was okayy

Matariki Myths

Hey Guys, Gals and Everything in between!

So it's Matariki and of course we HAD to celebrate it. How? By doing school-work about it. I could post for some time because we recently had a production called 'Dragon Days'. I got casted as a Narrator so I had to practice a lot.

Anyways back to Matariki. Hopefully most of you know what it is. In different parts of the world, there are different ways to celebrate Matariki. There are different stories and different ways to celebrate it, and that's what makes it exciting.

If there are any errors in my work, please, please, PLEASE tell me so I can fix it.

Story Starters 1/?

Guys, Gals and everything in between!

So, for writing, we are doing a little side thing called 'Story Starters'. It's supposedly someone will make up a story and your going to have finish it. I did some sad, and messed up endings. It's not that sad but a lot involved death. So enjoy, this is part one out of ??.

Note: The ___ parts are names. You can pick anything, I just can't think of anything right now. x_x

Link(s): The Story Starter

Starter --> Nico wakes up in hospital, both legs and both arms in plaster, his skateboard broken in two, and he doesn't know why... the only thing he can remember is walking up a massive hill and his skateboard and his dog.

My ending -->

Nico tried to move, but the plaster was too heavy for him to move. ‘Did I get injured while skating?’ he said under his breath.

Nothing really came to mind, if he tried really hard all that appears is just a blur.

He moves his head facing the left bedside table. His skateboard is still broken… Wait- where’s his dog?

That’s the only important thing right now.

Somebody probably took care of her while i’m here.

Nico had moved out of his home at the age of 16, he went to a boarding school. He had a wonderful roommate called, ___.

___ and Nico were best friends. Until the end.

After an hour or two of laying in a hospital bed. He tried again to sit up.. “Still not getting up sooner or later..”

Nico then saw a nurse come into the room, with both of his parents. Mr and Mrs ____ I’m very sorry.

Nico’s parents' eyes widened, Mrs ___ started bawling her eyes out. Nico knew that her mom was sensitive, but never this sensitive.

“Mom, I’m okay see!” He then shook his right arm. His father in the background was also crying. Wait- they were both crying..

This usually meant that something was DEFINITELY WRONG. We only called Mom ‘sensitive’ because she cries everytime they see an elderly person waiting by themselves.

But, dad.. He never cries, his soul is as hard as a wrong. Except when it comes to Mom, he’s a REAL sofie.

“GUYS! I’m OKAY! LOOK!!” Nico started shifting both his arms.

“WOAH!” Nico fell right through the hospital bed. ‘What the..?’ As far as Nico knew he couldn’t walk through things.

“AAH! Oof!” Then he started to fly up and he hit his bed on the ceiling.”Oww..”

Nico then looked down to where the nurse and his parents were. THen he saw himself in the bed. Lifeless. The heart-rate machine was off and so were the other things attached as well.

His eyes then widened, HE WAS A GHOST! He was freaking out! His parents couldn’t see him, but he could see him.

“WHERE IS HE!?” A voice yelled. It was ___. His best friend until the end. ____ then had tears rolling down his face.
Nico started to cry with him and his parents. The nurse started to tear-up as well.

Now Nico was a ghost, haunting the entire hospital. Well not haunting. What he would do is he would comfort the people who are in a lot of pain, or were on their last breaths.

Nico was a very helpful spirit.

Relfection:

This was okay, fun-sih. Nothing really to comment. No pros or cons :).

Question(s): Are there any errors in my work? How would you rate it? How would you end the story?
