Digital Technology

Hey Guys and Girls, for a couple of weeks we have been learning about CODING! We used websites like GameFroot and Code.Org. I used scratch because I was experienced at it, and it's also a bit easier for me.

I am not finished but I was trying to make an adventure game, because I would have more fun in adventure games.

I'm not sure how to link my work but here are some screenshots.

Links: Code.Org ~ GameFroot ~ Scratch

Overall Reflection:
I loved the session! I like playing video-games a lot and making them was quite a challenge. But I did get through it. This was very educational, and I'm basically just looking behind the scenes of video-games.
GameFroot hasn't been the best at the moment it's been very laggy. But I would recommend Scratch and Code.Org.

Questions: Have you ever used these websites/apps? Do you like playing video games?

Toolkit

Hey Guys and Girls! So today I attend Toolkit. It's when the school's from our cluster, go onto a Google Meet and learn about websites and apps. We have 4 sessions in total and each session is 20mins.

Today, I'm just going to talk about one session and it was about removing backgrounds on videos, gifs and pictures. I think the two background websites we used were : Unscreen (For videos) and Remove.bg (For pictures).

It was very helpful, although one thing they could work on was speaking more clearer. But it was very helpful I might use this a lot.

I will insert the slideshow with instructions about the background removing websites, so if you get stuck you could look at them.

Links Unscreen, Remove.bg, Uru Mankua Student Summit Workshops.

Reflection Overall: If I'm being honest, I kinda enjoyed it. I got to see and hear different school in our cluster. I also learn't a couple of things from each session. Keep in mind all sessions were hosted by students, and the teachers were just there to answer questions in the chat, help the person that's speaking and they were their recording everything too.

The were a couple silly pupils, but it was all taken care of. I wouldn't mind doing this again.

Scale

Greetings Viewers, Today for Math (By far the worst subject other than History), 3 people measured the class room. Why? For math! We as in my classmates, had to write it onto a piece of grid paper, and we could be in buddies, My buddy is Sosefina.
We also measured our desks, and wrote it on the grid paper too. Basically everything in the class, but the posters on the walls.

'Round about like 10 minutes of the session, Mrs Sumpter helped Fina and I with the Math. We still didn't get it, but she did tell us the answers! But I didn't write much of the answers.

Reflection:
Uhm, Fina and I didn't get anything in the session. We kinda just talked about it and then got confused a lot, in the conversation. I barely wrote anything only 4 lines and a desk, actually Fina and I wrote nothing at all, it was just a blank grid piece of paper.

Happy Fathers Day, Ma! #MothersdayPart2

Hey Guys and Girls! For a few days I've been working on writing, and it's about Fathers Day. The one thing that I can't write about. But I usually just write stuff for my Mother.

Just because I don't have a dad doesn't mean I don't participate, in fathers day. According to the school.

Don't get me wrong I love my Mother, shes the only parent I've got, and I love her with all my heart. So for Fathers Day I made a description about my Mother. I made a book for it too!

When you click this link, click onto the link above. (If you get a Redirect Notice) If it doesn't work then too bad.

My Mother Rose.

This is what the cover looks like:

Reflection
I enjoyed making this a lot. Because it has 2 of my favorite things, My mom and using book creator. Although I don't have a dad and I'm breaking the Fathers part, I'm just going to re-name it #MothersdayPart2 use this Hashtag if you have a single mom too.

Questions:
What are you doing for Father's Day?

Have a Lovely day.  #MothersdayPart2

Today's Focus of Math is..

Manganda Umaga or Hapon Guys and Girls! For Friday, Mrs Sumpter will be our teacher. And for this term on a Friday that math we are learning do to is Postion and Orientation.
We are still learning what it is, but I have been told that it's about North, East, South, West.

Me and My WHOLE ENTIRE SCHOOL , are making this terms theme about PIRATES.
So later in the term we are going to make Treasure Maps, and in every Treasure map there is directions.

Honestly I probably failed this but I think this was simple.
Now that I say that it's gonna get way harder.
But this was simple especially with the compass made it more easier.

Question: Would you like to see some Pirate Work? How was your day today?
