Orana Park

 Hey Guys, Gals and Non-Binary pals!

So yesterday we went to Orana Park! The year 7-8’s went, so that’s Room 5-6.  

We originally went there to learn more about Biodiversity and other cool facts about animals. 

Room 5 and 6 had to be split into two, So that we wouldn’t be all bunched up around an enclosure. Me being in Room six, I had to go to the room six group.

We had a lovely instructor/teacher called Bethany, she told us many facts about the different animals around the Zoo.

We only got to feed one animal, and it was the giraffes. I didn’t feed them, because I didn’t want to. People kept on making jokes about how they were my ‘relatives’. I’m not even the tallest in my class. I didn’t mind it.

There were a lot of cool animals, and I got to see a kiwi! His name was Sonic, and he was the only kiwi in the enclosure. Must be lucky having a lot of room. But kiwi’s have it a lot more difficult. There were new ‘pests’ that got introduced into New Zealand that made kiwis' lives a bit harder. 

Turns out there’s a lot of animals that are endangered. It’s because of how much stuff we’re taking away from them. Like palm oil, to get palm oil we have to cut down trees. And if we take all of the trees from that area, how are the animals gonna survive?

To Sum it all up. We learnt a lot about different things, such as how to Help animals, How they help us, What they do for the environment, and How we are harming their environment.

Reflection:

This was quite fun, and tiring we had to walk all day around the Zoo. But it was so much fun!

Five Nights at Freddy's 2

 Kamusta, Guys and Girls! So on my last blog post, I played FNAF 1 night one. Now I'm playing FNAF 2 night 1. There are more animatronics and more ways for them to scare me. Of course I played this game before recording so I know what to do. I also have a explanation of what happened to FNAF 1 characters. ENJOY  GUYS AND GIRLS!

Note, Flashing lights, scardy cat, toy bonnie being a creep, a lame explanation at then end, jump scares, bad graphics (again mobizen).

Reflection;

Scary but very  very fun, I'd definitely play this again if I decided to. This is a very short relfelction, toy bonnie is such a creep. Like if you agree after watching this.

Five Night at Freddy's.

Hola, Guys and Girls! So I sort of gave up on the summer learning journey. But I still will be commenting on other peoples posts, and replying to comments! Anyways, I played FNAF (Five Nights at Freddy's), Number 1. I played the first night and I got scared at the end. I played and recorded it on my tablet (RIP my storage), anyways enjoy this post!

Note, There are flashing lights, loud noises, disturbing characters, jump scares, a huge scaredy cat, bad graphic's (damn your mobizen!) and a tantrum.

Reflection:

This a scary game, I would play this again. If I had more courage (which I probably don't have, but I'm still dumb enough to play). But anyways back to the point, game was scary but it was fun to play. It's probably fun to watch me suffer, and get scared progressively.

Why I Hate Maths

 Why I hate maths.

Okay, hear me out. I struggle with remembering my times tables, because I can’t really just sit there and remember it.

Other thing, I’m also not really good at it because…

When I first came to St Bernadettes school, they put me in the same age group. Before I went to St Bernadettes school, I went to a Filipino school. Of course being a child and living in Papua New Guinea for almost my whole childhood. I cannot understand a single thing, except Filipino class where they spoke english. But I can’t focus very well either because I had Procrastination (even now).

Okay now, my past teachers said ‘Math is simple because it only has one answer. Unlike reading and writing’. Yeah, but it’s way easier if you get to put in your own answer, right? 

Plus some people are just born to know math easily. Like they could become a Math Mathematician! Also I tend to forget things at school, and only at school, it's really random too.

My Very Own Kowhaiwhai Pattern!

 Buenos Dias or Tardes Guys and Gals! So after I finished my insect art, I reload the page and a new activate came up! So I thought just do it, before you'll procrastinate. I made this Kowhaiwhai about my family, I have done this before with my Friday teacher Mrs. Sumpter, so I thought this would be easy if I just did the same thing. I did, make a video about explaining what I'm doing and such n' such. So watch the video to find out!

Reflection: 

This was quite easy peasy since I have done the exact same thing before. I did rush it a tinsy tiny bit, but a least I got it done and finished! Doing it on a Tablet with a digital pen is way easier. Trust me but of you aren't used to it then maybe not. Overall fun and easy and I would do this again!

My Insect Art - Summer Learning Journey!

 Hey, Guys and Gals! So as I said in the Digital Colouring Book post, I joined the Summer Learning Journey. Pretty cool huh? Hopefully you guys Registered too so you can follow along with me! 

Anyways for today's activities I just did an Insect drawing! But there is a twist of course, we had to make it out of stuff from nature in our homes! My little companion and I chose that we'd make a lady bug or bird. I recorded some of the stuff that happened from my Tablet, and so if the graphics are cheesy it's my Tablets fault. I will  be going through the photos and recordings in text.

Introduction

So in this recording is about Denzel (my little compainion ) and I were collecting sticks from the front yard. At the very start of the recording tho, I did introduced what me and Denzel were doing.

Shape/Outline

So this is just a picture of the outline of the lady bird/bug. So we used the sticks we got in the first recording, and made the outline. I did have to get more sticks and snap some. But I liked the outcome of the shape.

We Moved Places

What happened in this video is that instead of working on the trampoline we moved to the ground. Why? Because every time we got in and out of the trampoline the Lady bug/bird would get messed up. Of course I had to restart because we had to move to the ground!

Finished Product!

So is a google drawing actually of my Finished Product, and I labeled the Lady bird/bug so you know what is what. And it was really sunny so I don't know if you can see much.

Destruction

What else are you gonna do with a project? Well since we made it on a pathway in our backyard, we still had to get rid of it. So Denzel destroyed it, (I told him to do it by the way) and all the remaining bit we put it back.

Reflection: I enjoyed doing this, I would do it again. And it was a lot of fun, and it's even more fun if someone helps you. The recordings took a long time to upload. But it was still a lot of fun.

Digital Colouring Book

 Hey Guys and Girls, today I joined Summer Learning Journey, and last year I got second place. I really enjoyed doing it, so I figure i'd do it again this year. 

Back to what i'm posting, so I made a colouring-thing and I really like it. I've got a link so you guys can try it too. I started of with... *Instense thinking*.. OH! Uhm, Kick Start yeah. Mrs Clifford said we could do this soo. YEH! If there are any mistakes feel free to tell me in the comments.

I enjoyed doing this, it was quite easy too do. Not sure if i'd done it properly, but still i've done it. I honestly thing that the world would look a bit like that if they didn't take care of it.

My Life in Quarantine.

Hey Guys and Girls! So today I wrote about my daily life in Quarantine. If you don't know what it means it means, stuck home because of an sickness. And So on this cycle happens everyday some are different days some the same. This is split into 2 parts.
Anyways stay safe and sound at home! =)


My life in Quarantine in two parts..
First Part / Morning.
So everyday, I just start with my afternoon routine. I start with my afternoon routine because I wake up around 9 to 10 in the afternoon / morning-ish. Brush my teeth, wash my face, eat breakfast. TOAST as always cause I love me some Toast for breakfast with peanut butter. THEN I do that all fast and well so I can play the ps4. Because my brother would use it all the time.
Video Games, Video Games, Video Games, Video Games, Video Games, Video Games, Video Games and Video Games all day and youtube. So then I have lunch / brunch.

Second part / Nighttime. So then I take a shower and have dinner.
And continue Video Games and youtube.
 Then after a couple of hours I do Lexia and check emails for updates on school.
Then I might have a chance to use TIK TOK. To me it’s boring and addicting at the same time. Couple more hours I go straight to sleep.
