Hey Guys and Girls! This week for writing I tried to write a procedure of how to my Salt Crystals. I had to read a text when re-word and change it a bit to make it a procedure.
If there is any errors please comment! Might as well try it out too.
Grow your Own Salt Crystals.
Crystals are beautiful, to keep as decoration. Admiring it is also good too! But growing your own Crystals, seems fun.
So let's give it a shot and try it out!
The things you’re going to need are:
First you're going to need salt so you can dissolve it.
BATH SALTS, SEA SALT, TABLE SALT, WASHING SODA OR BLUESTONE.
The second thing you’re going to need is something to grow your crystals on. Like the main part (or you could call it a base) to make your crystals shape.
STICK (WOOD), EGGSHELLS, COAL, GLASS, SANDPAPER, STONES and any other FABRIC.
You can't just use your cup to pour the liquid. So minus well use a teaspoon or an eye dropper. You need to ask an adult or permission if you use an eye dropper or teaspoon. You might also need this to add your food colouring.
Then you’re gonna need hot water to dissolve your salt.
Here is an Optional thing you can put in the ingredients:
Food Colouring.
When you have most of it covered you're gonna need a nice and cool room. For putting your remaining liquid and you also need it to put your final product in.
STEPS
Okay, now that you got your ingredients covered, you need to learn the steps! Some of the steps need adult supervision, you might need help with some of the steps.
Ask help if you need help!
Grab your salt and boil your water in a cup, and pour your salt in and wait until it’s all dissolved.
Stir liquid when it’s finished dissolving and adding food coloring stir until it looks clear or colourful.
(Remember it’s optional to add food colouring so after it dissolves add your food colouring! ONLY 1 to 3 DROPS!)
Find and take your base you're going to use, for your crystal.
(e.g Sticks, eggshells, fabric) Then use a teaspoon or eyedropper then drop a little bit of the liquid on it.
Keep it in a warm place like a Window Sill.
Store your remaining liquid in a cool dark place.
Little by Little put more and more liquid on your object, and continue the process until your glass becomes empty or if your base is filled.
Also stir it everyday before you put more of the liquid on your base.
After you have done your Crystal, place it in a nice cool room for decoration.

Questions : Did you try this out? If you did was it fun and did it work?
I kind of enjoyed the experience some parts were hard to re-word.
But I think it's an okay procedure for writing. I would do this again, why? To not get copyrighted.
